Djerba, on the southeast coast of Tunisia in the Gulf of Gabes, remains one of the leading destinations of the country. No need to look far why: warm, clear water, Mediterranean climate that provides almost all year round pleasant temperatures, sandy beaches on dozens of kilometers ... 

After, like all destinations who are dedicated to tourism, we observed some through Djerba, such as large soulless hotels and resorts in the Club Med tourists are more and more since the 60s. 

Therefore, there is a group of divers recreational activities, ranging from waterskiing Gulf through the casino, not to mention the craft more or less artificial: some love Djerba paradise of relaxation and leisure resorts, others fleeing destination ... 

Yet Djerba also has an interesting heritage from the many peoples who stayed on the island throughout history: Carthaginians, Romans, Jews, Byzantines, Arabs ... what alternate with intense sunbathing on the beach.
